"Creating worlds where my memories can exist". My name is Tiago Pedrosa (22yr), I'm a AudioVisual artist based in Leiria, Portugal. I graduated in Animation and Moving Image from UAlg (University of Algarve). I have a very high interest in the complementary aspects of sound and image and a particular interest in distorted and experimental depictions of visual storytelling. I'm inspired a lot by retro futuristic art from the likes of Moebius and Syd Mead and in a more contemporary lens, the visions of Dennis Villenue, Simon Stalenhag and Ian Hubert, also influence my artistic and creative trajectory. In the world of animation, much of my love for it starts in Norman Mclaren, Oskar Fischinger and progresses through early rubber hose animation and the UPA style, and steats presently on the work of Yoh Yoshinari and Hiroshi Hamasaki. Films like "Treasure Planet", "How to Train your Dragon" and "Swiss Army Man", have a very special place in my heart and are eternal points of inspiration and guidance in my life. I'm open to work in almost any kind of creative project as an animator, sound designer or editor, be it film, music, youtube, twitch, etc. I'm still a junior animator, fresh out of college which means I'm very exited to be part of new projects that share my love and passion for the act of creating, both traditionally and digitally.
